Please remember to label each item of clothing - it is very difficult to return lost items to their owner if they are not marked.

Please would you ensure that your child has sensible all black footwear for school. Heels should be no more than 2cm  in height. The children invariably run around playing various games during break and lunch times, we do not want accidents with children falling off their high heels.

We would appreciate your support about jewellery; we recommend that children do not wear any. If they do have their ears pierced, please would you ensure they wear studs only. All children have to remove any jewellery for PE and games lessons. As well as the safety aspect, the school cannot accept any responsibilty for these items.

We encourage pupils to wear white T-shirts,  black shorts (above the knee), black plimsolls or trainers. The children look very smart both during lessons here and when they represent the school at various sporting events.

Children should have naturally coloured har at all times when in school. Head shavings of any size or design are not allowed to worn in school.

Inevitably items of clothing etc. get misplaced. Please ensure that all personal items are marked with your child's name - it will then be returned to your child straight away. Please check regularly that the name can still be read in their clothing as from our experience the pen does fade after a few washes.
Any unmarked items of clothing are displayed in Lost Property. At the end of each half term any items of clothing are displayed in the junior hall for parents to take a final look at before it is sent to local charities.
The amount of unclaimed lost property that we have is amazing so please mark their clothing! Please remember that we have 350 red sweatshirts and 350 white polo shirts in school at any one time.

We have a "Dress and Appearance Policy" that can be made available on request.
